In this 1-2 page writing assignment, you will review a case scenario and submit an assignment providing information about how you would conduct a focused assessment based on the presenting complaint. You will identify the appropriate questions to ask and the physical assessments needed.  You will then document your findings.

Jessica Riley is a 22-year-old single mother of two (2-year-old Carrie and 4-year-old Ryan).  She presents to the Women’s Health Clinic today with complaints of moderately severe pain in the lower abdomen, painful urination, and vaginal discharge for over a week.  She has experienced nausea, vomiting, and chills since yesterday and the pain is getting worse.  She is sexually active and has a steady boyfriend.
